Break-In at Shop in Fort William

Police in Lochaber are appealing for information following a break-in at a shop in Fort William.

Entry was gained to the premises on the town's High Street between 4.30pm on Saturday, June 2 and 11.30am on Monday, June 4.

A quantity of cash in double figures was stolen along with a quantity of alcohol.

Some damage was caused to the interior of the shop.

Commenting Detective Sergeant Andy Bilton said:

"Our enquiries into the incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who believes they saw anything suspicious in the area to get in touch as soon as possible.
