Men Arrested in Connection With Theft in Dingwall

Police in Dingwall have appealed for the assistance of the public following the recovery of property in the town.

The items were recovered during enquiries into a theft from Dingwall Recycling Centre on the evening of Thursday, April 5.

Two men - aged 27 and-21-years-old - have been arrested in connection with the theft and have been released pending further enquiries.

Commenting Sergeant Fiona Lake said:

"A number of the items which we have recovered are in good condition and we believe that they may have been left for donation to charity.

"A number of these items would be identifiable to their previous owners.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have donated items in good condition to the Dingwall Recycling Centre between Sunday, April 1 and Thursday, April 5.

"You can contact police in Dingwall on 101, quoting reference NE2777/18."
