Black Isle MSP Urges Communities to Respond to New Bus Times Consultation

By Reporter, The HighLand Times, Monday February 12 2018

The constituency MSP for the Black Isle has urged communities to respond to a consultation on new proposed bus times for the area.

Stagecoach is currently taking feedback on existing services, including those serving the Black Isle and Dingwall.

Kate Forbes MSP (pictured) said it was vital that locals make their voices heard, ahead of the Sunday 18 February deadline.

Changes are expected to take place from 16 April.

The Black Isle MSP said:

“This is an important opportunity for communities to make their voices heard about timetables.

“Last year, there was a lot of concern at changes to bus timetables and so this time it’s important to get it right first.

“I strongly encourage anybody who uses the bus, and those who want to use the bus, to respond to this consultation.

“The more people who use the bus, the better the services will get.”
