Appeal for Witnesses

Police have appealed for witnesses following a one vehicle collision on the A862 at Meikle Phoineas by Kirkhill on the 1st of January 2018.

The collision happened around 7.20pm on the straight section of road east of Meikle Phoineas by Kirkhill and involved a car and a pedal cyclist.

The 47yr old male cyclist from the Kiltarlity area, subsequently died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained during the crash.

As part of ongoing enquiries anyone who witnessed the collision who has not already been in touch is urged to contact Police on 101 quoting incident NN-104-18.
