Missing Fisherman Alasdair Macleod

It has been confirmed that the body of a man which was recovered on the Isle of Skye on Saturday, December 9 is that of Alasdair Macleod.

The 57-year-old was reported missing from the Applecross area on Monday, November 20.

He was found on the shoreline in the Staffin area.

There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very difficult time.
