Theft of Cash From Funfair Ride

Police in Ross-shire have appealed for information following the theft of cash from a funfair ride at Tain Links on the evening of Friday, November 3.

Approximately £500 in cash, which was stored within a plastic bag, was removed from the controller’s box of the Outrage ride within the funfair.

It is believed the money was removed sometime between 8.45pm and 9.15pm.

Officers are keen to hear from anybody who saw anyone acting suspiciously around the funfair at Tain Links on Friday evening.

Anyone with any information regarding this is urged to contact Police Scotland in Tain on 101, quoting reference NE16220/17, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
