Collision on The A9 Near Daviot

Appeal for witnesses after road traffic collision on the A9 near Daviot last night.

The collision occurred on the northbound dual carriageway section at Daviot at about 9.10pm on Monday, September 11.

The incident involved two vehicles -  a red Renault Scenic and a silver Nissan Navara pick-up.

The occupants of the Renault - two men aged 25 and 27-years-old - were conveyed to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with serious injuries.

Neither are thought to have suffered life-threatening injuries

The occupants of the Nissan, two men aged 29 and 46-years-old - sustained minor injuries. 

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them on 101 quoting reference NN23462/17.
