A Walk in The Hills
Amazing that Welsh air?
By Joseph Sweeney.
So, Theresa May decides to call a snap election.
It came to her, like an epiphany while out walking in Snowdonia, I know let’s have an election she thought.
She comes back from her walk in the hills and makes the announcement “Let’s have an election”.
Oh boy, just what we need another election!
The election of course is for the good of the country, she is not putting us through this other than from the goodness of her heart, the election will strengthen and bring the country together.
Goodness, that was some epiphany?
The truth is totally different of course, Mrs may didn’t call the election for altruistic reasons, she called it on purely political grounds and not as everyone thinks purely opportunist grounds.
It’s not been talked about much in the mainstream press, but 8 police forces are investigating electoral fraud from the 2015 general election.
What this means for The Tories is that if they are found guilty the party could lose up to 29 MP’s and therefore their majority in Westminster.
They only have a working government majority of 17.
So, let’s not be fooled by it was my walk in the hills that inspired me for the good of The UK to call an election.
Poppycock, obviously, she had been advised that her majority was under threat and the only way to stay in the power seat was to have an election.
But, there is always a but, Labour is a party in disarray and if the polls are to be believed will be wiped out in England and Wales.
We all know how little we matter to Westminster and The Tories, we are just to be pillaged and do as we are told.
Neither Scottish Labour, Scottish Liberal Democrats or The Scottish Conservatives will stand up for Scotland, they are only regional offices and they take their orders and most importantly their funding from their Westminster masters, so they are not going to rock the boat, after all you don’t bite the hand that feeds you.
Where does that leave us, well in my opinion with only one choice, time to go it alone and leave the Toxic Tories behind.
